A dominant second and third quarters were enough for Highett to defeat Bentleigh by 31 points at Packer Park. The match remained a low scorer in the first quarter as Highett would hold Bentleigh scoreless in the first quarter as they would lead by seven points at quarter time. The Saints would get on the scoreboard through a goal but the Bulldogs added four of their own to lead by 25 points at the major break. Two more goals from Highett to Bentleigh’s two behinds put the game beyond doubt at three quarter time with a 36-point margin. The Saints won the last quarter as a result of their second goal of the game but the siren would sound with 31 points still in the Bulldogs favour. Bridget Graffeo and Georgia Barnard were the goal kickers for Bentleigh.


St Peters held Brighton Beach goalless for the entire game as they ran out with a 68-point victory at Brighton Beach Oval. Neither side could kick a goal in the first quarter, but Brighton Beach was held scoreless as St Peters led by four points at quarter time. The Kangaroos got their only point of the game in the second quarter as St Peters opened up a strong lead with five goals to take 36 points. After the half time break St Peters held Brighton Beach scoreless in the second half as they kicked two goals in each quarter to led by 51 points and 68 points at third quarter time and full time respectively. Caroline Hart and Isabel Quintal kicked two goals apiece for St Peters.


St Bedes/Mentone started slowly but still remain undefeated as they claimed a 33-point victory over East Brighton at Mentone Reserve. St Bedes/Mentone held East Brighton scoreless as they jumped out to an 11-point lead. The Vampires held the Tigers to three points as they reduced the half-time margin to three points. This was as close as the Vampires got as they were held scoreless for the remainder of the game as the Tigers margin grew to 25 points at the final change and finally 33 points at full time. Georgia Ricardo and Maddison Wilson kicked three goals and two goal respectively for St Bedes/Mentone. Jessica Campbell was the goal kicker for East Brighton.


Prahran kept in touch with the top two teams on the ladder as they defeated Beaumaris by 47 points at Toorak Park. Prahran jumped out to a 21-point lead at quarter time as Beaumaris failed to trouble the scorers. Beaumaris got on the scoreboard through 1.2 but Prahran added another 2.1 to extend their lead to 26 points at half time. The Sharks didn’t trouble the scoreboard again as the third quarter time margin increased to 38 points. One more goal in the last for Prahran pushed the final margin out to 47 points. Lucy Slobom was the major goal kicker for Prahran with three goals.
