Another week for our Under 17s to show off their bright skills and enjoy themselves across our three divisions.

In division one Beaumaris continued their winning ways by getting over Cheltenham by 64 points, the scoreboard perhaps not a fair reflection of how good the Panthers were as they continue to improve as the season goes on.

Five multiple goal kickers in a total of 11 goal kickers showed the terrific spread the Sharks possess.

Ormond got past South Melbourne by eight goals in a very inaccurate display; a total of 19 goals and 25 behinds between the two sides wasn’t the ideal display in front of goals.

Ormond were too good from start to finish but like the Panthers before them South Melbourne had positives they could take away from the game.

Unfortunately Murrumbeena forfeited their game against Mordialloc-Braeside.

Division 2 had some results that weren’t as close as the neutral would like, St Paul’s McKinnon were beaten by former Division 1 side East Malvern by 38 points.

St Bedes/Mentone ripped through Hampton/East Sandringham by 89 points in a game that was over almost as soon as it began.

Ajax got past St Peters with relative ease getting the job done by 33 points.

In Division 3 Ormond made it a great weekend for the club in the under 17’s winning by 10 goals against Waverley Park.

St Bedes played in a cracking game against Dingley in a game that went down to the wire with Dingley winning by 12 points.

In the second of a double header of sorts, Cheltenham played Beaumaris in both Division 3 and Division 1 and again the Sharks came out on top.
