The Under 14 Division 1 South Metro Stars have capped off a remarkable AFL Victoria Junior Metro Championships with premiership success with both sides.

Both the Division 1A and 1B sides were victorious against Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) at Warrawee Park on Saturday, following undefeated campaigns.

The Division 1A team defeated YJFL by 35-points, 8.11.59 to 3.6.24, while the Division 1B boys enjoyed a 41-point victory, 7.12.54 to 2.1.13.

J. Sinn (3 goals) and L. Brooks (2) led from the front for Division 1A, with a best afield performance from J. Davies.

B. Boscacci (4 goals) capped off an outstanding individual campaign, joining F. Sullivan as the two best players for the Division 1B South Metro Stars.

The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJLF) would like to praise and thank the players, coaches, staff and parents of all our Interleague teams on another terrific season.

Onwards and upwards for 2018!
