The good weather from last week didn’t turn up for Sunday’s Under 10 NAB Lightning Carnival, but the quality of the footy and enthusiasm of the kids was first class.

Games were held at both King George Reserve in East Bentleigh and Hurlingham Park in East Brighton, and the SMJFL sincerely thanks both host clubs (Bentleigh JFC and East Brighton Vampires JFC) for their hospitality.

The SMJFL would also like to thank NAB for their valuable involvement.

52 teams took part in 13 different divisions – all named after past and present St Kilda stars – and the winners of each division are listed below.

Aside from players participating in their three group matches, the Under 10s received plenty of giveaways courtesy of NAB, which would’ve taken everyone’s mind off the chilly winds and occasional buckets of rain!
