This Sunday’s match between Melbourne FC and St Kilda FC (the league’s two AFL Football Partners) sees the return of The Welcome Game, Melbourne’s marquee sporting event for the celebration of diversity and inclusivity.

Following on from the success of the inaugural Welcome Game in 2017, also against St Kilda, the Melbourne Football Club are inviting everyone to come to the game on Sunday.  Regardless of where you’re born, whatever your religion, whoever you love, and whether you are a regular at the footy or attending for the first time – our game welcomes you.

There will be plenty of activities on around the ground including:

  • The Welcome Game Activity Hub, located in Yarra Park in between Gates 2 and 3. Includes face painting, caricature artist, arts & crafts, jumping castles, GIF booth, handball target & BBQ
  • Giveaways around the ground, including footy card swap meet, personalised footy cards, roaming MARVEL superheroes and the Woolworths playground
  • The MARVEL activation hub which includes the Avengers Agility Course, Hawk Accuracy Challenge & Photo opportunities
  • It’s Sunday Funday which means kids get in for free!

  • MCC Members’ Reserve, Gate 2 opens from 11am
  • All other gates open from 11.30am
