The East Brighton Vampirettes are through to the U18 Youth Girls Grand Final, facing off against the Whitehorse Colts.

For 2015, the U18 Youth Girls competition at SMJFL are playing within the Yarra Junior Football League, to allow for a fully supported and developed Youth Girls competition for both the leagues.

The EBVJFC Girls are undefeated for the competition this year, with all of the Girls performing exceptionally well in their season.

In their road to the Grand Final, the Vampirettes had a strong victory over the Highett Doggies, who just couldn’t match the East Brighton Girls’ kicking power. The Vampirettes claimed victory 11.6.72 to the Bulldogs 1.0.6 in their semi-final.

Second-placed Highett had a tough team to beat in the Vampirettes. Despite their hard work, they were also defeated by the Whitehorse Colts in the preliminary, losing 0.4.4 to 9.5.59.

Now the Colts have their chance to prove their skills against the Vampires. Can the Vampirettes hold onto their impressive undefeated streak? Or can the Colts overcome East Brighton on the biggest match of the year??

The game will be held on Sunday August 30, 2015 at 10:15am at Stradbroke Park, Kew.
