East Sandringham have had their exclusive training session with the players from St Kilda FC after winning the special prize in May.
St Kilda Football Club offered the prize to the SMJFL club that managed to sign up the most Saints SMJFL Memberships by the end of May.
St Kilda ran a training session with the Zebras, as well as showed support during their U12 East match against Mordialloc-Braeside on Sunday August 2 at Chisholm Reserve, Sandringham.
Despite not coming away with a win, the St Kilda players, along with their Saintly mascot, were able to show the East Sandringham players how you can support your teammates through a difficult match and learning from defeats.
The Saints SMJFL offer is an exclusive membership from the Saints, with a chance to attend three St Kilda home games in the Level 1 “Goal Zone”, a Saints footy, drink bottle stationary with heaps of other offers throughout the rest of the season.
The race to the most signed up St Kilda members was tight from SMJFL clubs, with many players, parents and supporters passionately supporting the Saints and the community involvement St Kilda has with SMJFL.
East Sandringham were graceful winners and thoroughly deserved this awesome prize. Check out the video from the day here.
