The SMJFL would like to thank our Development Partner, McDonald’s, for all their support through the 2015 SMJFL season.

McDonald’s is the Official Restaurant Partner for the AFL and the SMJFL partnership sees McDonald’s further establish its commitment to developing and growing participation in the sport across all levels.

McDonald’s is supporting the 2015 SMJFL Awards Night and will be presenting the McDonald’s Volunteer of the Year Award and a new award for 2015: The McDonald’s Leadership Award.

McDonald’s also provide a recognition award for every team that makes a Grand Final despite their result in the match. McDonald’s is able to directly help with the development and future of our clubs. They provide weekly encouragement awards throughout the season and are the naming rights partner of our U15 -17 competitions.

However McDonald’s aren’t only about helping SMJFL develop on the field, they also provide employment opportunities for SMJFL players with 6,000 new jobs at McDonald’s opening every year. Having a company work to employ and professionally develop our players gives them further employability skills that they can carry through their schooling and beyond.

SMJFL are looking forward to working with McDonald’s for the 2016 SMJFL season.
