The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) will have a second star to feature in next week’s AFL Women’s Draft, with St Bedes/Mentone Tiger Georgia Ricardo joining Izzy Huntington in contention.

The 18-year-old has balanced VFL Women’s, TAC Cup and SMJFL footy in 2017, along with her Year 12 studies in what has been a “crazy year” for the youngster.

Fresh off the AFLW draft combine, Ricardo is quietly confident ahead of the draft which is to take place on October 18.
