The seasons for our Under 8 & 9 South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) teams have come to a close with the annual Lightning Carnival taking place at J.L Murphy Reserve, King George Reserve and Toorak Park.

In the round-robin format, all teams were placed in groups of four and played each other once on what was a wintery day for football.

Congratulations to all players, parents, coaches, club volunteer umpires and officials on another wonderful season of football.
