The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) is committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and diverse community for young athletes. In line with this mission, the SMJFL is in the process of developing a new Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), aimed at strengthening relationships and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous communities. By working together with local Indigenous leaders, communities, and stakeholders, the SMJFL aims to create an environment that is both welcoming and empowering for players of all backgrounds, ensuring the growth of a more united and inclusive sporting culture.
