The SMJFL with the support of the East Malvern Junior Football Club will be launching a new umpires training venue and academy for the development of SMJFL and Yarra Junior Football League umpires.

This exciting initiative will launch next Tuesday, May 29 from 5pm at Stanley Grose Reserve, Stanley Grose Drive, East Malvern. High profile AFL guests will attend to launch the Academy and share some of their stories.
