The Sandringham Dragons have gone down to the Geelong Falcons in the 2017 TAC Cup Grand Final by two points in a pulsating clash at Etihad Stadium.

Dragons’ Joel Amartey had a chance to seal back to back premierships after the siren, but his set-shot from 2om out skewed astray.

Falcons forward Gryan Miers may have catapulted himself into first-round calculations, booting seven goals in a best afield display.

Former SMJFL product Charlie Constable impressed for the Dragons, finishing with 23 disposals, five clearances and two majors.

The win breaks the 17-year drought for the Falcons, while the Dragons will head back to the drawing board ahead of Season 2018.
