Round 8 in the SMJFL is ‘Jelly Baby Round’.

This Sunday, the SMJFL and its member clubs will be helping the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) by selling jelly babies and setting up donation tents at SMJFL venues.

The JDRF supports research projects to cure, treat and prevent Type 1 diabetes and is the world’s largest charitable supporter of Type 1 Diabetes research. Last year, the SMJFL and its clubs raised $6722 to assist the JDRF with its great work.

The success of Jelly Baby Round on Sunday depends on the support of our communities and clubs, so the SMJFL is encouraging everyone to get behind the JDRF when you’re at the footy this weekend.
