SMJFL NEW FOOTBALL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ruby Lewis as the new Football Operations Coordinator.


Ruby joins the SMJFL team and has a strong academic background, holding a double bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science / Business (Sport Management) from Deakin University.


She brings with her valuable experience from a range of elite sporting environments. Ruby has worked as a performance data analyst with the St Kilda AFLW team, volunteered as a data analyst with the Sandringham Dragons, and gained additional experience as an Events and Marketing assistant at North Melbourne Football Club.


Ruby is passionate about high performance and is committed to contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of football across the league. Her diverse background in data analysis, events, and sports operations makes her a great asset to the SMJFL team.


Ruby said she is “thrilled to be joining the SMJFL and I look forward to helping deliver a positive football experience for all involved.” She is excited to work with clubs, players, and volunteers to help grow the game at the grassroots level.


“It is great to have someone with Ruby’s wide range of skills and passion for junior sport supporting the Football Operations team. We look forward to Ruby bringing these attributes to the role”, General Manager- Football Operations Nathan Broadbent said.
