Peter RyanPeter currently owns and runs his own financial planning practice and mortgage broking business, which were established in 2005. Prior to that, he worked in the finance sector as a bank manager in personal lending, business banking and international business. He then moved into a financial planning role, which provided him with the perfect grounding for his current roles and business structure.

Peter commenced his junior football career with Boronia Junior Football Club in the Knox Junior Football League in 1974 at the age of eight. In 1984, he was appointed captain of the St Kevin’s College school football team. Peter began his senior football career in 1985 with St Kevin’s Old Boys (C Grade) in the VAFA and then moved to De La Salle Old Boys (A Grade) later in 1985, where he was fortunate enough to be selected in the VAFA Victorian Senior team for the national carnival. At the conclusion of the carnival, Peter was named in the 1985 All Australian Amateur team. He moved to the Sandringham Football Club (VFA) in 1986, remaining there for 10 years and being part of premiership sides in the early 1990s. Peter later returned to Old Xavierians in the VAFA to finish his senior football career.
