The SMJFL is pleased to announce that Olivia Crowe has been appointed to the position of SMJFL Director of Umpiring & Female Football Development. 

Olivia comes to the SMJFL with 3.5 years experience working for the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) in Umpire Operations & Administration. Prior to the VAFA, Olivia was employed at AFL Victoria as a Female Development Officer and the Football Operations Assistant within the High Performance Department. Additionally, Olivia has been played football for the last 10 years and currently plays for the Eastern Devils in the Victorian Women’s Football League (VWFL).

Olivia can’t wait commence her new position. “I am extremely excited about this opportunity to work at a well-known junior football competition,” she said. “It will allow me to continue to develop my skill set and advance my career in football”.

“The opportunity to work closely with the SMJFL Umpires, helping to develop our umpire pool and create closer ties with the various umpiring programs is one that I am looking forward to. This coupled with the work involved in the growth of Female Football within the SMJFL is a very strong passion of mine.”

Olivia began her new role on Monday October 20.
