A beautiful sunny day in Round 11, and a beautiful moment captured at St Kilda City JFC.

Irwin Tobias, is a family man and has dedicated countless hours to giving back to community sport. He has been an umpire in the league for many years, even when formerly known as Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League.

Now a grandfather, he still puts in effort at St Kilda City JFC matches, donning the fluoro as a Club Volunteer Umpire for one of his granddaughter’s teams. Often a thankless job, it is great to see Irwin still wearing a smile.

On Sunday 15 July, volunteering was truly a family affair as Irwin was joined by his daughter as Umpire Escort, his son-in-law as Goal Umpire, and a granddaughter as Water Carrier. They all supported another of Irwin’s granddaughters in her game.
