The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) have recently announced to its member clubs an exciting partnership with the St Kilda Football Club in the delivery of its Next Generation Academy (NGA) and Interleague programs.

There is now an exciting new pathway for coaches, from community to elite, who want to be the best they can be. This is a major opportunity. No other league has integrated with a AFL club to the extent that St Kilda FC and SMJFL has. We have expanded the program this year and are looking to increase the number of coaches assigned to the five groups.

As such, the league is looking for Level 2 accredited or significantly experienced Level 1 accredited coaches to join the St Kilda NGA and SMJFL Interleague coaching panels for 2018. We are looking for team coaches and development coaches.

Join us as we look to harness the male and female junior talent at Under 13 – 15 level.

The program begins in February and training nights for 2018 will be:

Monday – Under 13 Boys, Under 13 Girls & Under 15 Girls

Tuesday – Under 14 & 15 Boys

Applications may be accepted from coaches currently engaged at Club level, Representative teams, TAC Cup, other leagues or school programs – if their credentials are well developed. A key attribute is a strong commitment to improve and develop your coaching skill-set.

We are seeking exceptionally committed, self-controlled, player-centric coaches proficient in team development and individual player feedback. An ability to incorporate game sense drills and activities is vital.

Applications are closing fast so act now
