The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) is excited to host Media Day for the second time in 2018 following its successful debut on the event calendar last year.

It’s a terrific opportunity to capture the faces and voices of the members and volunteers that make up the league.

The SMJFL are seeking enthusiastic participants from a diverse range of ages and cultural backgrounds and all 26 clubs are to be represented, so there is plenty of room for an unlimited number of participants.

  • If you (or your junior player) are great at being in photos, posing, and action shots – WE WANT YOU!
  • If you (or someone you know) want to feature in interviews and videos to help promote the league –  WE WANT YOU!
  • If you are a volunteer on a club committee, coaching on match-day or an umpire that wants to be recognised – WE WANT YOU!

Register your interest via online form today!

(Confirmation of scheduled times, additional information and any other specific requirements will be relayed to you prior to the event)

Players from all clubs welcome. Additionally, to capture the commitment and passion that goes into running the league, SMJFL extends an invitation for all club officials, match-day volunteers and umpires to attend.

Your voice and representation in creative projects – both digital and print – is essential to recognising the huge volunteer work-force in junior football.

Event Details:

When: Wednesday 4 April, 2018 (First week of School Holidays)

Time: 10am-4pm (You will be provided with a scheduled time to be at the venue and not required for the whole day – unless you want to be there!)

Where: Newly-opened RSEA Park, Linton St, Moorabbin VIC 3189 [MAP]

Working with league partner Red Onion Creative to capture content (photos and videos) which will be used during the year, for specific campaigns, recognition rounds, events and functions, there will be multiple stations for content capturing.

Away from the bright lights of the filming, there will be footy clinics running and heaps of space for a kick-to-kick.
