AFL Victoria are now taking registrations for the additional 2018 Junior (Under 8-Under 12) & Youth (Under 13-Under 18) Foundation Coaching Workshop in the Inner Southern Region. This is an additional opportunity for coaches who missed the at-capacity Workshops in the Inner Southern Region held prior to the 2018 Season.

A reminder that the Workshop Component is compulsory for all new coaches to coach in the SMJFL in 2018, in addition to the Online Component.

Workshop Component: 

The combined Junior & Youth 3-hour practical ‘face to face’ course details are:

When: Monday 30 April from 6.30pm-9.30pm

Where: Walter Galt Reserve, Cnr Victoria & Davey Streets, Parkdale

Cost: The cost of the practical component of the coaches courses for 2018 is $60.

Online Component

Coaches are also required to complete the online component of the accreditation prior to attending the workshop. The cost of the online component is $49.50.

1. Firstly by getting a password (very simple),
2. then complete the applicable online course – Junior (U/8-U/12) or Youth (U/13-U/18) Foundation Course, and
3. Complete the Code of Conduct and Concussion Module.
