Prahran had a 31-point win over Bentleigh on Sunday, but it was not an easy victory. Despite Prahran leading by 21-points at half-time, the Demons had a stunning third quarter, where they kicked 2 goals to Prahran’s single behind. Final Score: Bentleigh 3.7 25 def. by Prahran 8.8 56

St Bedes/Mentone moves to 5th on the ladder after defeating St Peters, who fell to 3rd at the conclusion of the round. It was an extremely tight game where much of the action occurred in the middle, so both teams struggled to score. Neither team scored a goal within the first half, before the Tigers were able to gain some ground in the third quarter and boot 2 goals to put themselves in the lead. St Peters created some opportunities for themselves in the last quarter, but their inaccuracy in front of goal saw them finishing goalless and unable to get back in front. Final Score: St Bedes/Mentone 2.3 15 def. St Peters 0.10 10

When the kick resulted in a behind, both teams were left tied at the final siren, resulting in a draw. Final Score: Hampton 2.4 16 drew with Oakleigh 2.4 16
