The annual SMJFL Sherrin football delivery arrived at RSEA Park last week as the league continues to gear up for another exciting season.

1,213 footballs in total were delivered, all featuring the new 2020 SMJFL design.

Each leather match day ball is handcrafted and hand-printed by official SMJFL partner, Sherrin.

The fresh design features three partners, including Major Partner of the league, Monash University.

Monash University are celebrating their fourth year of major partnership with the SMJFL, and the fourth year Monash University has held a place on the SMJFL match ball.

Monash University is featured on the SMJFL Sherrin for a fourth consecutive year.

Premier Partner of the league, Reflex, is also featured on the ball for their third year along with new Premier Partner, Storage King.

SMJFL Charity Partner, The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, is also featured on the 2020 design.

SMJFL Chief Executive Officer Sarah Loh said she was excited to have such amazing support from all the SMJFL match ball partners.

“We’re very fortunate to have such supportive partners on our 2020 SMJFL match ball,” said Ms Loh.

“We can’t wait to have these footballs in the hands of all our players.”

All footballs have been packed for clubs in preparation for the 2020 season. The league will advise clubs when they can come and collect their orders.
