2017 In Review – Mordialloc-Braeside JFC

Our club by club review of 2017 South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) season continues with Mordialloc-Braeside JFC next under the microscope.

  • 651 registered players in season 2017 – the highest number of players ever recorded at the club
  • 29 teams, including six girls teams
  • Girls playing numbers doubled on 2016, climbing from 63 to 126
  • On The Field
  • 70% of eligible teams qualified for the SMJFL Finals Series
  • Seven teams in Grand Finals with one successful in winning a premiership (Under 17 – Division 1)
  • 25 Intra/Interleague representatives from the club
  • Three winners and seven placegetters in SMJFL League Best & Fairest awards
